Quick Note to Readers

Going to keep this short post short. Sorry about the lack of updates, but I've been working on the websites and continuing the migration to an all-electronic format. As of this writing, both First Step Press Online and Stepping Stones Magazine are live. Crimson Rivers Magazine will follow next month. How I Got Published: A Book Review

If you’d like to get your book published, but are not having any good luck, then I’d sure like to recommend an excellent book for authors, about authors, written by a couple of writers who really know what they’re talking about. The name of the book is “How I Got My Book Published: Famous Authors Tell in Their Own Words” by Ray White and the Wayne Lindsay, 2007.

In reading the poetry chapbook, Cold Front by Robert Pringle, I found myself zoning out a lot.  Like the title suggests, it left me cold and periodically I was even reading and rereading the same stanzas repeatedly.  I was not able to grasp the pictures the author tried to conjure for most of the poems in the chapbook; however, there were a few exceptions. Minor Site Change

Tweaked the site a little bit to make for easier front-end navigation. As the site continues to grow, we'll add pagination buttons to allow for even easier navigation. We're rolling along with the main site, now we'll be shifting focus to SSM: ALMIA Online and CRM Online.
